What to Expect:
- Consultation: Before the session, we’ll have a phone consultation to get to know your family, discuss your vision, and plan out the session details. Sessions can be tailored for babies needs.
- Preferred Color or Theme: You can choose between out existing themes or we can make a custom theme for you. All Themes can be modified to fit your needs.
- Timing: To capture those genuine expressions, we usually recommend scheduling the session for after your child’s nap and feeding. This ensures they’re happy, energetic, and ready for fun!
- Sitter Sessions: Sitter sessions offer a remarkable opportunity to capture the adorable transformative stage in your child’s growth. These sessions beautifully highlight your little one’s newfound ability to sit upright, showcasing their emerging personality and charm. This is usually between the ages of 6 – 13 months.
- Cake Smash & Splash: No need to bring a cake, we provide one for you, homemade with fresh ingredients and free from dyes or artificial colorings! Be prepared for some messy fun, as your little one dives into the cake and explores its texture. If it turns out that cake just isn’t their thing, no worries, we always ensure the option to have a time for water play! This part of the session is all about the sheer delight of your little one as they explore water in a beautiful prop tub.
- Comfort and Safety: Safety is our top priority. We’ve created a safe and comfortable environment for babies to interact naturally. Sitter sessions do require that baby has the ability to safely sit up unassisted, usually this is between the ages of 6 months to one year old. If baby is younger or still needs to be held or assisted, be sure to let us know and we can accommodate for a different milestone session.
Parental Involvement: Your presence can provide comfort and encouragement to your child. Feel free to join in the fun, whether it’s making baby smile or laugh, these moments often lead to the most heartwarming photos.
Flexibility and Patience: We understand that babies have their own schedules and moods. Our experienced photographer has the patience and flexibility needed to work with young children (she’s a mommy of 2 herself!). If a break or soothing moment is needed, we’ll ensure that it’s seamlessly incorporated into the session.
We’re dedicated to ensuring that you have a wonderful experience during and after your child’s photography session. If you have any specific preferences or ideas for how you’d like to receive and use the images, feel free to let us know. We’re here to help make this experience special for you and your family!
Final Product
After your milestone session, you can expect to receive a wonderful collection of memories to cherish. Here’s what you’ll receive:
- Personalized Edits: We will schedule an online zoom meeting where we will showcase your proof gallery and make your guided final selections. We will then carefully retouch each image to enhance its beauty while maintaining a natural look. We’ll make sure your baby looks their best while preserving the authenticity of the moment.
- Digital Image Gallery: We’ll provide you with a secure online gallery accessible via a private link.
- High-Resolution Images: The images in your gallery will be high-resolution and suitable for printing. You’ll have the flexibility to print them in various sizes and formats, from standard prints to canvas wraps.
- Digital Download Options: You’ll have the option to download the images directly from the gallery to your computer or mobile device. This makes it easy to share them on social media or with loved ones.
